Studio Owner

Lauren Melillo

Lauren Melillo has a deep love for fitness from being a competitive athlete throughout her youth and teaching in the fitness industry for over a decade. It has always been one of her biggest passions. When Lauren took her first barre3 class she knew she had truly found her home. Barre3 was not only the heart pumping, body sculpting workout she loved, but it gave her so much more. It was the way she felt mentally after every class - more grounded, centered, and the feeling of pure happiness that had her hooked. The barre3 lifestyle has changed her life in so many amazing ways. Lauren is thrilled to bring barre3 to her Charlotte community with the love and support from her husband, Kevin, and their 3 kids: Kingsley, Tatum, and John.

barre3 South Charlotte | Barre Classes in Waxhaw

barre3 South Charlotte | Barre Classes in Waxhaw

In the Waxhaws, the Union County countryside south of Charlotte where Andrew Jackson spent his boyhood, barre3 South Charlotte sits in Reafield Shopping Center on Rea Road near Tom Short Road. The Six Mile Creek Greenway is a short drive north, its nature trail winding the woods along the creek for walkers and runners. Farther southeast, Marvin Efird Park wraps trails, a disc golf course, and a community garden around a small lake. Drop in before a morning on the greenway, or make barre3 part of your routine.

Our barre3 South Charlotte studio offers barre3 Signature and b3 Strength—two classes that complement each other across your week. Barre3 Signature blends strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete full-body workout, using a barre, core ball, and weights to build strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen balance. B3 Strength is the deeper muscle work—with heavier weights and slow, deliberate movement that builds the kind of strength you feel in your everyday life. You'll leave feeling stronger and more capable than when you walked in. Every fitness level is welcome.
