Studio owner Marissa Rubinetti

Studio Owner

Marissa Rubinetti

Marissa Rubinetti came to barre3 in 2018 as a single mom of two young boys, looking for a way to reconnect with herself after putting her own wellbeing on hold. She fell in love with the practice in her very first class and, a year later, auditioned to become an instructor.

What she loves most about barre3 is its community — she has never belonged to a fitness studio that made her feel so welcomed, valued, and comfortable in her own skin, with workouts that are challenging yet always attainable. Barre3 has taught her to stay in tune with what her body needs, and to give herself grace to meet herself where she is each day.

Marissa is a strong supporter of women’s health and wellbeing, and helping women become the best versions of themselves — mentally and physically — is something she deeply believes in. Becoming a studio owner has been a dream she’d carried for years, and stepping into this role now still feels like a pinch-me moment. Marissa spent 20 years as a merchant at David’s Bridal corporate before serving as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City.

Originally from New York, she moved to Pennsylvania at 21 and now lives there with her sons, Derek (12) and Cole (11), her husband Edward, and their golden retriever, Rocky.
